The Ministry of Education expands its toolbox with machine learning

Intro
The Ministry of Education is an organization with access to large and complex datasets, along with highly specialized employees. The Ministry has had a desire to utilize its data far better and to develop employees’ skills in recognizing the potential of using artificial intelligence.

Challenge
Accessing big data as well as realizing that there is something called artificial intelligence does not mean that you can use it for everything. It is about figuring out where it is relevant to combine the two; to detect where it may create real added value for the organization or business you work in. Otherwise, you risk working with something that is either not being used or at best not being used optimally.

Solution
A workshop process where selected ministers from the Ministry, together with Enversion’s experts, work to create concrete AI prototypes based on data from the Ministry of Education’s own data warehouses, which subsequently may not have been implemented directly but continuously worked on by the employees themselves. The work has been done in open source tools, so no expensive licenses have had to be bought to continue the work.

To sum up
If your organization has large and complex datasets, Enversion’s experts can arrange a workshop for selected employees, so you get better equipped to see the potential and relevance of using AI.
